Tammy Wu - Photographer

Tammy Wu is an Australian born Taiwanese artist and photographer currently based in Sydney. She specialised in portraiture and still life photography field and works across multi-media platforms.

 

Starting from the interest in cosplay photography, she was fascinated by the process of imitating the worldview and characters by adding her own insights and aesthetics to create works. She became interested in fashion editorial photography which has similarities with and finally led her to the path of being a professional photographer.

 

Through the experience of living in Taiwan and Australia, Tammy discovered different beauty in her own culture, trying to use self-experience to combine cross-culture aesthetics, and willing to see the sparks of art between eastern and western perspectives.
